I was getting the following message when trying to access options in the Woocommerce Stripe gateway plugin settings (accessed via Woocommerce settings > payments):
“Seems like the live API keys we’ve saved for you are no longer valid. If you recently updated them, use the Configure Connection button below to reconnect.”
The good news is that everything was still working, but the plugin was freaking out.
I was also getting messages about being unable to retrieve account settings and unable to retrieve account status.
It was also showing in advanced settings at the bottom of the Stripe plugin settings that legacy checkout experience was still enabled, which wasn’t true, because the front end was showing people the new checkout experience.
To solve this, I had to delete my browser cache and delete cookies for the site.
